About Puces Pop
Take note! This is not a flea market. Puces POP is a platform that showcases the best and brightest of Montreal’s burgeoning creative artist community.
Puces POP was born in 2004 with the desire to bring together the extremely talented scene of designers, crafters and artists that Montreal harbours in one marketplace. But no one could have anticipated the important place Puces POP would take within the festival and in the community. Just as POP Montreal is an established resource to bands, Puces POP has become in 2011 an indispensable platform for the designers, artists and artisans who participate, allowing them to experience unparalleled exposure to 6000 visitors each weekend!
Today Puces POP is more than a fair, it has developed beyond the marketplace and organizes several year-round events, including the two day business seminar Lil’ Biz, the fashion gala and competition Fashion POP, the POP Up Shop Vintage POP sales, the Record Fair, and the design contest Design POP.
As for the main fair, it has become so successful that it now happens 5 times a year! It has established itself as a regular attraction amongst a culture-savey public of families, artists, students and young professionals. Each event brings out an impressive number of buyers, eager to explore the high quality handmade goods Puces POP is known for.
So there you have it, Puces POP is... simply something to be seen.
